My Introduction to Help Desk

I had heard of the class before, but I did not know what to expect. I have always been intrigued by technology, but I wanted to learn more about it and learn the ins and outs of certain things. I took this class because I want to find out more about technology since it is becoming so popular and necessary not only in the workplace, but in everyday life as well. Technology has grown so much in the last five years, and it seems like everyday the world is making new advancements with technology and people have to keep up with it. I believe that Help Desk will help me know a lot more about technology and hopefully this knowledge can carry me into the future and not fall behind on technology as a whole.


Walking into the class, I was surprised by all of the electronics and devices that were around. While Mr. Wong was explaining the class, I was excited to try out all of the devices he had to offer. In the early weeks of the class, we used arduinos and circuit playgrounds as the first "gadgets" that were presented to us. They were very interesting because simple code and downloads could achieve many possibilities with these devices. Also, we were able to go outside and use the drones. I was able to fly the drone and it was really cool being able to see what was not only above the school, but also around it. In the coming time in Help Desk, I am excited to learn even more about technology and use even more of the technology that this class has to offer.
